After attending St. Christopher's Addiction Wellness Center in Baton Rouge, Jacob moved to New Orleans where he has been a member of the Imagine staff since November 2023. He counts his experience with mixed martial arts and exercise as vital to his recovery and finds that it's important to share this with other residents. Jacob spends his free time at movies, drawing, and asking George for help with crossword puzzles.

Kennedy Righteous
Women’s
House Manager

Kennedy grew up in Baton Rouge and fell in love with New Orleans during her time as a student. She is an alumnus of Xavier, Avenues, and Oxford House. While in Oxford, she served at the chapter level in both Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Kennedy also brings extensive experience from her work with Odyssey House in the Low Barrier Shelter. Through her work she has learned the importance of meeting an individual where they are, listening, and providing meaningful support. Kennedy considers the Imagine Women’s house to be a very special place. She credits both her recovery and the strength of her recovery community, with the beauty of her life today. In her free time, you can find Kennedy playing recreational co-ed soccer (or Minecraft), spending quality time with friends and family, or watching her latest show.
